Gentex Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror

The new Audo TT Coupe is definitely a fun car to drive, but what makes the experience all the more pleasurable is the presence of the Gentex Automatic-Dimming Rearview Mirror. This unique mirror system will automatically darken all three rearview mirrors when responding to the headlamp glare of vehicles approaching from the rear. The darkening is relative to the brightness of the vehicle behind, making driving at night a much safer experience. In addition, you also get a video display that is located within the Automatic-Dimming Rearview Mirror, showing what is behind the vehicle the moment your gear is shifted into reverse to avoid untoward accidents. There is no word on pricing at the moment.

No big deal...automatic dimming rear view mirrors have been standard mount on Peugeot cars for years..
