We purchased the Mio c310 about a year ago and enjoy the simplicity of use. However we need updated software and it is diffuicult to find. We are just about ready to take our business else where.

bought july 06 would like updates why so slow with them all other companies are offering them in canada & usa detail maps also why cant i set my travel from canada to the states only works after i cross over

Would like to find out about the Mio 220. Where do one get the map upgrade if you need it I want to purchace a unit and want to be sure of future updates. I am staying in South Africa.

I purchased a mio c310, I am happy with the purchase. I have friends with the Tom Tom, and Magelin, which are good units, but I think the mio is a better buy, and works as well if not better. I want updates, A.S.A,P. This is the only area mio is lacking. If anyone has any info, please email me at 55hill@comcast.net Thanks

As of June 07 '07, there is still no Web Updater (ala Garmin WebUpdate) at Mio for their products.

any new hacks for the mio c310x other than the TCMP video player. how bout games for the c310x? Is it possible to install the airplane game on the H610 and install it to c310x?

Love the MIO, c310. great tool, but i need the update if there is one, got this one christmas 06/07 . I need the software as I lost it shifting house. Can anyone direct me? i understand it needs to open mut.dll files.

I just bought my C310x yesterday for $199.00 at Circuit City. They guy told me that it compared to the Tom Tom that was selling for $450.00 other than the voice street recognition.

I was totally BLOWN away when I installed it in my SUV. For that price I expected some cheap thing so I can get around town here in Texas. I didnt expect to get the best GPS system for the price on the market. Not only that, but with my SD extention to my Mini SD Memory 2gig card and my FM Transmitter, I now can jam out to my MP3's in the car.

Best buy I have made all year! (Oh, and it has a GPS in it also..) lol

Anyhow..

The H610 includes an application disk not included with my C310X.

Normally, the C310x should have all the software features of the H610. If you really need the info, I could dig in my boxes and check.

can the mio h610 compass, video player, phone book and games be put in the C310x

Steve, I don't think that the (street) price is too high. It's actually one of the most affordable GPS unit.

mio s***ks, the price is too high and they dont provide no uptdates therefore i'll scrap it and get a tom tom

We got the Mio c310 for xmas and want to know if Europe Maps are available for this model

so when are the new maps going to be available?

I spent approx.a total of 2hrs.on hold waiting a response from technical service (telephone) left a message-no response in 2 days.Could it be a hoax on their part that they have this service?

Hi there.... I just got the Mio c310 for Christmas. How do know if I got the updated version? My maps on it were dated Sept/06.

According to Mio, all units currently sold have the latest software. A couple of people that I know ordered it last week and got the new software.

For previous versions, the update mechanism is still in the works at Mio...
