Pupa Lamp requires stroke to turn it on
Published on 12/ 3/2006

There has been some pretty interesting lamp designs in the past that require some sort of user interaction to activate, such as snapping your fingers, clapping your hands, or even blowing at it. Taking its cue from Nintendo's touch-lovin' console, the Pupa lamp comes lined with fur and lacks the compulsory On/Off switch. Instead, you can only turn it on by stroking the fur lining lovingly. This weird Pupa lamp is custom made from fiberglass, a couple of 15-watt fluoroscent bulb and a fur switch. The fur looks very much like a wide spread of cotton IMHO. No idea on how much it costs though.
