SkyPartner 101 takes up VoIP and PSTN

Not everybody has jumped onto the VoIP bandwagon yet, but the SkyPartner SP101 could turn the tide in Skype's favor by offering the best of both worlds, including a full-featured wireless Skype-enabled handset that handles your landline calls as well. The SkyPartner 101 will retail at the recommended retail price of $119.95 when it is available at stores next January. Each purchase comes with a USB dongle that you plug into your PC or notebook, while the DECT handset sits pretty on your desk. Too bad the design isn't exactly stellar, but as long as it gets the job done, looks don't really matter. More features are available after the jump.

• 1.5&Prime color LCD display with 128 x 128 resolution and full-color Skype GUI
• Pairing of the SP101 and SP102 is done in factory
• Proven DECT technology on the SP101 delivers clear digital communications
• Dual phone capability with calling on Skype and PSTN on the same handset
• Reception up to 1000 feet in open field and 160 feet in home and office between the SP101 and SP102
• Switchable between Skype and PSTN calls
