Dell notebook takes tough stance

Dell has dropped its first semi-rugged notebook that meets the military standards for various categories such as vibration, humidity, and altitude for those who want to ensure everything runs smoothly despite the occasional hiccups during the notebook's transportation. The Dell Latitude ATG D620 features a "high durability paint" and a water-resistant keyboard which is capable of laughing at coffee/water spills that occur regularly at the office. Data integrity is enhanced with shock absorbers inside. The ATG D620 can also be upgraded up to 4GB of DDR2 SDRAM. It is now available in the US with prices starting from $2,499. I wonder if it comes with a fire-proof case just in case the battery decides to explode...
