Hasselblad H3D-31 31 megapixel monster
If you're a shutterbug who has deep pockets, perhaps the Hasselblad H3D-31 is your cup of tea. Touted to be the first 48mm full-frame DSLR camera system in the world, the H3D-31 features a whooping 31 megapixels in each photo, thanks to the 44mm x 33mm sensor that comes with enhanced micro-lenses to boost the ISO rating to 800. This means it has a capture rate of 1.2 seconds per image, making light of virtually any snapshot. Is 31 megapixels overkill, and when will the madness stop? Hopefully the single pixel camera would be commercialized soon to end the megapixel race once and for all. In the meantime, it is best to leave the Hasselblad H3D-31 alone on retail shelves and settle for a more affordable DSLR instead, as the Hasselblad will knock you off your socks for $ 24,995.
