Hover Scooter costs a bomb
If adults can have their fun with Segways, why can't kids go about in this Levitating Hover Scooter? Well, the main drawback would be the prohibitively high cost of entry - forking out $17,000 for this will definitely put a big dent in your kid's college fund. Let us imagine for a moment that cost is no object - the Levitating Hover Scooter looks like a miniature flying saucer with handlebars too boot, featuring a top speed of 15mph and powered by a 12V battery which juices the four-stroke internal combustion engine. I wonder how long the battery can last before requiring a replacement/recharge.

i made a maneuverable hovercraft in highschool physics using some plywood, some plastic, a frisbee, a crapload of staples, and three gaspowered leaf blowers... for under 50 bucks (well, we had the blowers laying around)
