Konka phone suffers from Nokia-litis

CES 2007 - They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but sometimes the line just get crossed one too many times. Take Konka for example - the font reminds you of Nokia, and the V7 resembles the shape of the Nokia 5300 series. What makes this GSM 850/900/1800/1900 different is the type of input and functions. You get a touchscreen display that measures 2.4", boasting 262k colors with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. Bluetooth, GPRS, and USB connectivity are included, but unfortunately it does not support 3G. A quick check with the representative failed to yield answers for pricing and availability. The Konka V7 is definitely not for business users and heavy text messaging people as the touchscreen input is less than ideal to send messages on the fly.
