New Sony Bravia 70” LCD TV

CES 2007 – Sony’s elegant new 70 inches Bravia LCD TV excels at displaying images and should be even brighter than previous models, thanks to the use of an LED backlight. It is obviously “Full HD” (supports a 1080p resolution) and can, optionally receive a wireless module that will allow users to connect to several online video services from AOL or Yahoo, just to mention the big ones.
In my opinion, with the success of user-generated video and the success of YouTube, Sony hopes that users will buy the module to watch their favorite online videos from their couch. It’s very optimistic, at least in the short term and with the current online video quality: the launch demo was featuring poor-quality video blown up to 70” – yikes.

There's always a catch with Sony. But i suppose we shouldn't bite the hand that feeds us.
