Nokia N800 Internet Tablet

Published on 01/ 9/2007

CES 2007 - The Nokia N800 Tablet was announced at the show, so I had to play with it. Here are the highlights:

It is slightly smaller and lighter than its predecessor, the N770 but still has a 800x480 resolution, which enables a desktop web browsing experience (powered by Opera 8), which was the original goal. There is a rotating webcam that pops on the left side. It’s the most noticeable addition and a very cool one, I have to admit. The other cool physical difference is the presence of two expansion slots (versus one in the 770): a SD/Micro SD, Mini SD and MMC/RS-MMC. Both can be used simultaneously to increase the storage capacity.

I guess that the user experience would be very similar to the N770 that we previously reviewed.
