Streaming movie content on your cellphone or PDA is a novel idea, but the 320 x 240 pixel display you get with either device does not do justice. Increasing the resolution could be one of the steps you can take, but it is much easier to include a built-in projector to blow up the image. This is exactly what Microvision did by working on the Pico Projector that is tiny enough to be integrated into a cellphone or other devices of a similar size. The Pico Projector is capable of projecting a full color notebook-sized screen onto any surface and at any distance. According to Microvision, more will be unveiled at CES next week, so keep your eyes peeled.
