Recipes on the Nintendo DS
Posted on Jan 24, 07 09:32 PM PDT

Everyone knows the Nintendo DS is one piece of hardware that has seen plenty of creative uses for it, and it will now benefit mankind in terms of culinary delicacies after being used for briefing purposes in museums. Nintendo are currently working with Imperial Hotels Limited to bring the Cooking Navigator software that contains a list of recipes which are read aloud by the DS upon selection. Each recipe is divided in equal parts, and it moves over to the next segment via voice commands. You get both Western and Chinese recipes in addition to Japanese delicacies, but it will only be available under the Japanese language. Hopefully a translation will be made available as this should be able to boost more hardware sales on Nintendo's part. There is no word on pricing for this spring release.
