Bought the Q35 about 6 months ago. Before this one I had the Dell , Vaio, Tishoba Tecra and the IBM, I am a laptop user for the last 7 years. All of them were great machines except this last one. Within Two weeks the screen started flickering, then the keyboard button colors started to fade away while the classy shiny silver paint of the mouse buttons completely changed to while.
So i called Samsung service and asked them to fix it, but then the real horror started. they picked it up and one week later i got it back with no improvement at all...except a malfunctioning Microphone connection. So I called and they picked it up again. After FOUR weeks it got back to me with the same flickering screen but this time a crack in the monitor frame....totally free of charge. Now they are supposed to pick it up for the last 2 weeks because they felt sorry for me begging for it too much.
In the mean time i spend the the 500 euro extra and got a Vaio as usual. Will let you know about this drama as soon as i have more news....how ever i the mean time the Samsung support has advised me to use the laptop as a fixed desktop, buy myself an extra LCD monitor from SAMSUNG!!! and stop visiting my clients...!!!????
