Scotty Pro loves the sun

Having a device with solar panels built straight inside is still a long way off, but the Scotty Pro is definitely a step in the right direction by offering a portable solar charger that keeps your gadgets powered no matter where you are. The Scotty Pro comes with a pair of rechargeable AA batteries inside which require up to 7 hours of sunlight to be fully charged. You can hook up compatible MP3 players, digital cameras, cellphones, and other devices including those that are powered by USB. A full charge can provide up to another hour of talktime for your cellphone and anywhere between 2 to 6 hours for a Discman if you still own one. The Scotty Pro retails for £49.95 each and is currently in stock.
