Stethoscope attached to iPod nano
Posted on Jan 31, 07 07:12 PM PDT

Talk about a unique iPod accessory - Thinklabs have conjured up a stethoscope recording package that works with a 2GB iPod nano, the XtremeMac MicroMemo iPod recording unit, and a ds32a Digital Stethoscope. This setup enables physicians to record and playback heart sounds despite being in less than ideal conditions (read: noisy). If you aren't up for recording heartbeats, you can always disconnect the stethoscope and use it for general recording purposes. The entire kit will set one back by $495 (iPod nano included).
