Automatic trash can for the lazy
Just when you think the much talked-about R2-D2 trash can is cool, you would change your mind in an instant (unless you're some kind of ultra hardcore Star Wars fan) the moment you lay your eyes on the SimpleHuman Sensor Trash Can. For $50 more than the R2-D2 trash can, you get a brushed stainless-steel companion to grace your home with its presence. The inclusion of a recessed sensor zone enables you to open and close the can by simply placing your foot at the bottom of the can. A hold button ensures the lid stays open for extended jobs. You can use standard trash bags with the Sensor Trash Can. This $200 beauty can be powered by half a dozen D batteries or a wall power outlet.

This is the second Simple Human sensor can and they die after a couple of months, the lid opens and closes at will and won't stop, don't buy this.

The one at Costco is a pain in the a**.
Everytime you walk pass it, it opens.
This is much better but not for $200.
