Concept Analog Thumbstick for portables

The analog thumbstick could possibly be one of the better inventions that greatly help users manipulate an interface, but unfortunately its size makes it nigh impossible for portable devices such as cellphones and portable handheld consoles to integrate properly. Granted, most cellphones these days come with some form of analog thumbstick, but those are so small and often fail not before too long. The Compact Analog Thumbstick is a concept design of an improved joystick for the mentioned devices, featuring a telescopic analog design that has to be unlocked and extended before use. Once you're done with it, just push it in and twist it around to lock it, making it look like a normal button instead.
