Fancy a drink now, sir?

Here's a novel idea - a water bottle that actually nags you on the exact amount of water you need to drink, not one drop more or less. The HydraCoach Intelligent Water Bottle comes with an integrated hydration calculator that measures the amount of water you're supposed to drink once it computes your weight, duration and intensity of the exercise, altitude, and temperature. You can now be sure that you're getting just the right amount of water throughout the day. Those who drink more than they should won't be too pleased with the 22-ounce bottle though. The HydraCoach is available for purchase at $30 a bottle.

I sip forcefully, and the bottle only reads 19 when practically empty. I fill it up as much as possible, but either only 19 fluid ounces fit, or the meter is inaccurate.

To Lisa:
You have to sip fairly forcefully for it to measure what you are drinking. If you take small, slow sips, it does not register. You have to drink fast enough that the bottle actually makes a little whirring noise.

I bought the HydraCoach this weekend. It was easy to set up;just read the instructions first. However, it does not track the amount drank correctly. The bottle holds (or is said to hold) 22oz. After drinking a full bottle it only registered 10oz. I then reset it, filled it up and tried again. This time it registered 12oz. Why is it not registering 22oz? I have read other reviews and they all seem to have the same issue. I called Sportline today and got several VMs. I figure that there must me a "special" way to sip water from this bottle. I will give Sportline the opportunity to explain to me before taking it back.
