GigaByte T600 Dual DVB Cellphone
Feb 21, 07 12:43 AM PDT

It looks like GigaByte will be the first company to have a DVB-T and DVB-H compatible phone (both are terrestrial digital TV broadcasting). DVB-H (H like Handheld) was designed for mobile devices, with recent progress this cellphone is not capable of decoding DVB-T, originally intended for televisions. The downside of using DVB-T is that it requires more electrical power.
According to GearFuse, which quotes Gigabyte, the device has enough battery for several hours of television on its 2.6” VGA display (5 hours with DVB-H and 3 hours with DVB-T). The GigaByte T600 will be on the market in Taiwan in April.
