Hologram looks like the real thing
Posted on Feb 27, 07 12:49 AM PDT

Holograms are pretty cool stuff, so it is amazing to see the Mirage 3D Hologram Generator create a perfect 3D hologram without even using a single bit of electricity. What does it run on, pixie dust? Apparently not. This precision optical instrument was manufactured to tolerances of millionths of an inch, so the object which you put on display are recreated faithfully and realistically. Just place the object in a bowl, cover it, and the hologram will be generated. Great to fool those who love dipping their fingers in the cookie jar - only you know where the real cookies are. The Mirage 3D Hologram Generator retails for $36.
