Planar Xscreen pseudo plasma solution

Unless you're someone who swims in money, the 103" plasma TV is definitely a much more expensive proposition compared to the good old projector in the living room. Unlike the plasma, you have to live like a mole in order to get the best picture possible, or do you? The Planar Xscreen comes with a specially coated surface which works great at absorbing ambient light, enabling you to watch movies while leaving ambient lights on. It effectively takes light that hits it at an angle, bouncing it off to the side instead of straight back at you. This means only the projected image goes straight back to your eyes, resulting in a sharper, brighter image. All you need to do to make it look like a plasma TV is place a frame of some sort around it. The Planar Xscreen retails from $1,399 to $2,799 for the 60" and 100" models.
