Sanyo helps keep earth green

Sanyo has successfully developed a refrigeration unit that can save up to 46% in power bills at the end of the month - too bad this system is restricted for supermarket use only at the moment. This system combines a consolidated energy saving method, in-store lighting, and air conditioning equipment to achieve this power saving feat. It is nice to see companies take a green initiative when it comes to preserving our fast degrading world for the next generation. Hopefully some of this technology will be able to spill over to the home consumer electronics market, pretty much like how F1 technology is filtered down into our everyday driving experience.
