Sony NW-A800 rolling out soon
Posted on Feb 16, 07 07:12 PM PDT

Sony is still giving the digital audio player market a go with the upcoming NW-A800. This flash based device comes with a relatively large screen and video playback to boot. Unfortunately, additional details surrounding the NW-A800 are pretty scant, what we do know is it will be available in a quartet of colors, has a storage capacity ranging from 2GB to 8GB, and a 10 hours battery life. Word on the street is more details will be leaked when March rolls around, so we can all sit back and speculate in the meantime. What is it that you would like to see more in Sony's products, especially its Walkman range of DAPs?

While it looks like a cell phone, its still is gonna wipe the floor with apple's ipod, with its capacity and the wieght factor. though it had better include a bassbooster

Its not a Hard Disk Drive its a flash drive which is why it will kick ipods a$$ when it comes to speed and battery life.

I hope that this is better than all their previous versions of their walkmans becuase the previosu ones the software was useless and makes ipods look great!
Also if it is going to play video an 8GB HDD is really small!

I would like to see an intuitive, well thought out product. Not you usual "we're Sony so whatever we make is the best thing out there" kind of product.
Just make it easy to use.
