Wireless photo transfer gains speed
Posted on Feb 1, 07 07:42 PM PDT

Transferring photos from your digital camera to your computer sans wires has been around for some time now, but none of the solutions can really measure up to that of a dedicated USB 2.0 cable. Artimi hopes to wring some changes in the industry with yet another concept that involves wireless USB technology, enabling shutterbugs to transfer up to 1GB worth of photos within half a minute. These WUSB-enabled cameras from Artimi are expected to be released before the year is over, while other heavy hitters in the camera industry will follow suit next year.
