Air conditioners carry artwork
Posted on Mar 1, 07 05:13 PM PDT

The old continent of Europe is still lagging behind America and Asia when it comes to air conditioning in homes, but that situation is slowly and surely changing. LG aims to take a stab at the European market by introducing the Artcool range of air conditioners which feature a picture frame that can hold a favorite photo or replica artwork of yours. There is no word on pricing or availability, but it would be cool to see air conditioners in the future come with a memory card slot of some kind and an LCD display which acts as a digital photo frame. Sure, the cost of the air conditioner could rise drastically but I'm banking on economies of scale to combat that.

In what way are they lagging behind? The quatities of Airco's installed or the quality of the Airco's installed? Most Europeans choose Daikin Airco's.. very reliable small and ecologic machines.. In America they still use the old fashioned HUGE and energy wasting machines..
