Cyborg army in the works
A cyborg army is always the stuff of imagination, but that could soon be a reality thanks to some strides made by an Israeli defense firm. This company has recently unveiled a portable robot known as VIPeR which is capable of entering most combat zones on its own and exchanging fire with enemies thanks to its arsenal of a machine-pistol and some grenades. Sharing the rough dimensions of a small TV, the VIPeR could play a vital role when it comes to protecting Israel's interests from Palestinian or Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas. The VIPeR still requires the assistance of a human controller to perform, and at least it helps cut down on the battlefield casualties for one side.

Haha, I thought the exact same thing! Wow, a robotic soldier with grenades and guns which doesn't jeopardize anyone's life!

This makes me sick.

"but at least it doesn't jeapordize anybody's life"... erm apart from the people it is designed to destroy. I think we should stick to Robonurse for now... perhaps more useful to society?
