Dogs trained to retrieve money from ATMs

The disabled face many obstacles in everyday life, and some of them include withdrawing money from an ATM machine even if it has been lowered to their level as seen at certain banks. Some of the ATMs are still too far inside, requiring the disabled person to stretch beyond their ability to retrieve some money. Canine Partners has a solution in the form of specially trained dogs that are capable of putting in the card and retrieving both cash and card when the transaction is completed. Of course, you still have to punch in the PIN number yourself but these pooches definitely make life much easier. I suppose these dogs are also deterrents for people who are looking for easy prey at ATMs.
