GlobeSurfer iCON HSUPA unveiled
Posted on Mar 4, 07 06:39 PM PDT
There is nothing quite like living in a wireless world, as you no longer have to worry about tripping over wires or even cleaning up clumps of dust bunnies across the myriad of cables that snake across your workspace. Option has recently announced that its GlobeSurfer HSUPA modem is now available in a USB version, enabling users to experience even speedier connections at 7.2Mbps downstream as well as a 2Mbps upstream. The inclusion of a swivel USB head is a good idea as it enables you to fit into any USB port with ease no matter the type of computer case you use. This GlobeSurfer modem is backwards compatible with EDGE, GPRS, and GSM, and is compatible with virtually all operating systems. Pricing and availability details are currently unknown.
