While some of us are blessed enough to live under the blanket of free WiFi, there are still plenty of people around the world who has to pull up to the nearest Starbucks in order to take advantage of free WiFi. Linksys helps you in your quest for searching out WiFi hotspots with the Wireless-G USB Adapter that comes with an integrated WiFi finder. Just a simple push of a button will detect both 802.11b and g networks as well as all the relevant information like the SSID, signal strength, channels used, and the status of wireless security. I'd say this $79 device would go down very nicely with my Nintendo DS Lite as I can now search out WiFi hotspots to have a round or two of Mario Kart DS.
