Longcheer G300 to debut next month
Posted on Mar 20, 07 06:51 PM PDT

Longcheer from China will be dropping the G300 cellphone sometime next month in its country of origin at a yet undisclosed price, and will probably ship it across the world in due time. What can you expect from this GPS-enabled handset? For starters, it comes with a WAP Internet browser, supports audio and video playback, and sports a VGA camera, which is rather sad as the bare minimum these days ought to be at least 1.3 megapixels and above. You won't find any SiRFStar III GPS chipset inside though as the G300 runs on the U-Blox AG GPS chip instead. The Longcheer G300 measures 117mm x 50mm x 16.5mm and weighs 102g.
