Mario Kart DS comes to life
Mar 15, 07 10:10 AM PDT
Super Mario Kart basically kickstarted the entire karting scene for consoles, and since then we have seen many iterations of Mario Kart across different consoles such as the N64, the GameCube, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS. Those who want to turn fantasy into reality ought to check out the officially sanctioned Mario Kart DS Track Race Set. Each $29.99 purchase comes with a couple of Mario Kart vehicles (it somehow looks like Mario and Yoshi are the only drivers...), two controllers, and 18 track pieces that can be interconnected for one fun-filled race. I wonder how items such as banana peels and tortoise shells are implemented though.
