Night vision in colors other than green
Published on03/27/07

We all know how night vision images come in just green and black, but Tenebraex has already developed night vision goggles that enables one to see all colors even in the black of the night. Unfortunately, these special goggles retail for approximately $6,000 a pop and targets the Army more than the average Joe. The goggles use a mechanical and filter-based system without the help of a computer, making it unaffected by factors such as temperature and weight. Color images can be generated even in quarter-moon light levels. Should light levels dip too low for any color to be seen, the user can simply twist the knob in order to switch to the standard monochrome green night vision we all know and love.
