Sony D3000 rolling out this summer
Sony's latest HDTV effort, the Bravia D3000 comes with Motion Flow technology that was designed to remove the judder you get whenever your eyes are treated to fast moving scenes on a flat panel TV. This problem can be countered because the TV is also capable of showing films in 24 frames per second, along with interpolated frames thrown into the fray automatically to smooth out any potential juddery motion. In case purists claim that this will cause havoc with certain films' charm, the D3000 is equally capable of leaving enough judder as the director intended it thanks to the Theatre mode. No word on how much it costs, but like most Sony products it should be overpriced.
