Speedster of a washing machine
Mistubishi Electric has developed the world's fastest washing machine that is capable of changing the angles automatically according to the volume of clothes and function. The moving drum within is capable of washing up to 20 pounds of clothes within 35 minutes, while drying six kilograms within 145 minutes. Mitsubishi claims that taking more than two hours to dry those clothes is a vast improvement over the traditional washer, but I can't really verify this fact as I've always let the sunlight do the talking in this area. Pricing details are unknown, but can any of our readers verify whether the drying time of 145 minutes is consdered fast?

My Fisher-Paykel EcoSmart washer does clothes in about 30min. It spins at 10k RPM to remove as much water as possible. Dryer takes about an hour.

As far as I'm concerned, I do my washing at the local lavomatic. The cleaning takes 45 min but the drying takes only 26 min...
