TomTom GO 715 makes and receives calls
Posted on Mar 5, 07 06:53 PM PDT

According to some leaked details at the FCC, TomTom has a new GPS system up their sleeves this time. Going by the moniker TomTom GO 715, this successor to the TomTom GO 710 will also feature Bluetooth functionality for handsfree calling with a twist - a SIM card slot now graces the device, enabling users to turn the GO 715 into an impromptu cellphone. Casual GPS users will probably give this a pass since this hardware refresh of the 710 leans more toward the business community. There is no word on pricing or availability as at press time, but hopefully more details will emerge at CeBIT.
