Virtual mirror to replace changing rooms

Nanette Lepore hopes to increase sales at her Bloomingdales Store in New York by experimenting the marriage between fashion and technology. This store contains virtual mirrors that enable you to try as many clothes as possible without the hassle of changing into any of them. This is made possible by using reflectors that project a virtual image of selected fashions onto the customer which can then be uploaded to a special web page for friends and family to leave their two cents' worth. Definitely a time saver for ladies who love trying more garments than you can shake a stick at. If you're a buyer, will you use this fast track method or stick to the changing room?

Great Idea!!!! I was just thinking of a product like this. Not just for the Retail Stores, but for the home aswell. I believe you are on the right track. Just need to add some more AI to it. The possibility with this is endless.

Or more accurately (for women's clothing, as illustrated), rack" size (can and usually does) varies, as do other parts too

How does this mirror in the slightest tell us how the outfit will look on us? This shows us what it would look like if we held the dress up in front of us, which we can do with the mirrors already in most clothing shops. We're all shaped differently, and we have to actually put the fabric around our bodies to see if it will hang correctly, if the size is right (no matter what size you are, different brands size their clothing differently), etc. This is a gimmick, not a useful item.
