AytoBE GPS navigation system

The AytoBE GPS navigation system aims to bring you much more bang for your hard earned buck as a GPS navigation system. For a mere £99.99, you get a generous (albeit standard) 3.5" touchscreen display, MP3 playback capability, an SD memory card slot, TeleAtlas maps for the clueless, and a battery life that lasts up to three hours. The interface itself looks simple enough, and the included remote control ensures backseat drivers have the power to dispense instructions via the AytoBE thanks to the highly accurate SiRFStar III GPS chipset and full postcode search.

how can i load tom tom software in my aytobe

I successfully loaded tomtom app + maps (UK+ire in my case) on this device. It is 1000x better. The maps are complete and free:) - what you need to do:
1. download tom tom software (TomTom Navigator.exe should be included) from any warez site - rapidshare helped me
2. download maps
3. install microsoft active sync
4. connect device with miniusb
5. browse to the device in my computer
6. fetch the autorun.inf file (copy on desktop)
7. edit it and the the navigator.exe to point to tom tom navigator.exe
8. tom tom should now load when you start device
9. copy maps to root folder (ex. \UK_MAPS)
10. tom tom will find maps and needs activation code, you need a generator to generate the code
11. have fun!

where can i get more maps for my gps, i only have 4 countries installed on it even though it says its all eurpoean, for instance i would like world wide maps

my map is dated to 2006, except its far more out of date than that, for example its telling me to turn on a roundabout that was removed over 6 years ago, to turn on a dual carriage road with a barrier seperating the roads and to cross a road that is a deadend. This map is in need of updating but the copmany do not offer that option. The customer support is nonexistant; there has been no reply to the email help contact and Nokia UK have not picked up the phone despite 30 minute waits. This GPS is cheap but has often fallen short of doing the job when most needed. TomTom update monthly, and pick up the phone - aytobe is not up with the others.

There arn't any camera updates for this unit, they haven't finished programming the plugin as yet, just how long its going to take even Aytobe don't know. Come on Aytobe its about time this was sorted out, there is talk however of the tomtom software being compatable with this unit but you didn't hear that from me.

There are no camema updates for this unit, they haven't finished programming the plugin as yet, just how long its going to take even aytobe don't know. Come on Aytobe its about time this was sorted out, there is talk of the tom tom software being comatable with this unit but you didn't hear that from me.

Has anybody used one with full european street maps, plus where and at what cost's. I am very interested in one but with full european street maps only.
