I don't think the form factor Albisho mentions is all that much a detriment to the idea. In fact this might be a benefit to those who find the downsizing of cell phones frustrating because the screen has smaller print and the controls harder to operate, say for the aging boomer generation. Kind of an interface enlarger for those that need it.

Nice idea but i dnt think it will catch on. Phones and PDAs are getting smaller which means that this idea is sort of redundant as in the PDA you will have 2 screens, 2 button interfaces, 2 processors/MB's etc. which means that it will be bigger than today's current PDA phones.
