Geeked out oscilloscope clock
Posted on Apr 10, 07 09:52 PM PDT

You know you're a 100% true blue geek when you see this oscilloscope clock and start wetting your pants. Those with a reasonable amount of D.I.Y. knowledge will be able to pick it up as a kit and cobble one in no time, gaining the satisfaction of telling the time with some very outdated hardware. Needless to say, this will render the oscilloscope useless to perform its original duty, but at least you know what time of the day it is.

The oscilloscope clock kit above is nice but expensive. The Dutchtronix AVR Oscilloscope Clock (see www.dutchtronix.com/ScopeClock.htm) is about 1/3 of the cost and shows both and analog and digital clock. It's a very popular product for true geeks and a great christmas gift.
