Kernel Kutter strips corn of kernel
If you've ever tried to strip a corn of its kernel, you would know what a demanding task that is. The Kernel Kutter makes short work of any corn, stripping off kernels quickly in one fell swoop. Just slip the expandable stainless steel circular cutter over the end of the cob and push it down - you'll end up with all the kernels stripped and intact. This is one handy kitchen gadget to have around, especially if you're fond of dishes such as creamed corn, succotash, corn pudding, and salads. The Kernel Kutter retails for $8.99 and does not come with a diktionary...er, I mean dictionary.

I think it was Jacques Pepin who explained the revolutionary "new" corn stripping technique he learned from a (non-professional) friend. He laid the ear of corn on it's side and cut around it (instead of lengthwise) with a big knife. Safer, faster, smarter. And it saves you 9 bucks.
