Static begone with Resitec keychain
Apr 27, 07 12:05 AM PDT

The Resitec Earthing Static ought to be made as a compulsory welcome gift to anyone who joins a new company, particularly if the office floor is fully carpeted. How many times have your colleague tapped you on the shoulder only to send a nasty jolt instead? What about those moments when you reach for a metal doorknob only to get shocked? This device lets you discharge any static electricity safely and lights up momentarily whenever electricity is passing through. The Resitech Earthing Static keychain retails for $14.

I agree with Slippy Lane. I use my house keys and forgetting about my rent, they cost a lot less than $14 to rid me of static.

Your car keys, a coin, ANYTHING metal will serve the same purpose, and you're likely to have those on your person!
