T-Mobile Dash gets WM6 upgrade
Looks like owners of the T-Mobile Dash will receive their Windows Mobile 6 upgrade download next week. As with everything tech these days, a leak on the Internet way before the actual release date is all but inevitable, so don't you go downloading these updates from unofficial sites as you wouldn't want to end up bricking your Dash. Some of the new applications include Music Plug-In that enables users to add a music player plug-in to the home screen, doing away with the need to go through the convoluted Start menu system. Setting up email clients is also painless now, while Office Mobile has been thrown into the fray as well. The whole upgrade process apparently takes around 10 minutes to complete, which is relatively quick and painless. Have you upgraded your Dash yet? Share your thoughts by leaving a comment.

With WM5 I was able to get internet, corporate email using activesync, and everything else without having to pay for Total Internet (way overpriced at $29)... I only had T-Mobile Web... it was probably a bug or something because they told me a few times on the phone that internet was not supposed to work without the total internet package, but it did! For over 6 months... as soon as I upgraded to WM6 I lost the internet access... it will now only work by paying for total internet. So I'm considering going back to WM5!!!

I have one push and one pull email account on my it hold a ton of email, right now I have about 70 email in total, I have had more. However I have not yet finished playing with the voice command stuff so I won't comment on that just yet. I would have liked to see a more interface options, but nooo so it looks like I'll be doing some more xml coding. The Dash works fine WM6 is an improvement over all, upgrading was quite simple. I hope MS dosen't use WM^ as an excuse to come out with a full revision release, but I know they will.

ugh -no voice tag! The voice tag was far superior and quicker than the new voice command, which fails 90% of the time!

did the upgrade i love this phone before the upgrade now i cant do without it. the voice command is great. The new improvements to the volume strip take away the only weak part of it's profomance.

I had a Blackberry - and miss it! The Dash is lacking features I took for granted with the Blackberry - copying and pasting, easy word find and lots of memory to save 30 days of emails! The Dash holds about 12 emails, no copying, no pasting....I miss my blackberry!

Yes I upgraded to WM6. I have to say its a tad better but still not even as close to as good as NOKIA OS Symbian. If the Dash had Symbian OS i would love it so much more. If anyone knows away let me know.
