Toshiba is pleased to make available its HD-A20 HD DVD player to U.S. retailers which stands firmly in the mid-range scheme of things when it comes to second generation HD DVD players. It not only plays HD DVDs and outputs them in 1080p, it is also backwards compatible with existing DVDs and CDs so consumers need not throw out their older collection of audio and video. Features include an HDMI interface, upscaling for DVDs, an Ethernet port, and support for a variety of surround sound configurations. If you have $500 lying around, would you pick up the Toshiba HD-A20?
