Toyota vehicles get G-Book mX Pro

Published on 04/13/2007

Toyota has teched up their cars with a new network technology which is capable of downloading the latest maps and traffic information onto your dashboard. This information is then processed by the on-board GPS navigation system, giving drivers the fastest/shortest route in a blink of an eye. Available in two flavors, the G-Book mX Pro version comes with an integrated data transmission device while the basic model requires you to have a cellphone beforehand. The G-Book mX Pro will make its way into luxury models soon, costing approximately $100 in annual subscription fees after the complimentary one-year waiver. I say save yourself a whole lot of money and be more alert when you drive, figuring out alternative routes on-the-fly without letting a machine pull you by the nose, or in this case, a steering wheel.
