UBiQUiO 503G another alternative
The oddly named UBiQUiO 503G Pocket PC Phone looks set to ship this June 20, so those who can afford to wait on picking a smartphone till then ought to give this a little more thought. After all, the UBiQUiO 503G is powered by a pretty muscular 520MHz processor, featuring 256MB ROM, tri-band UMTS/HSDPA support, integrated WiFi and stereo Bluetooth connectivity, a 2 megapixel CMOS camera with micro focus and a standard VGA camera for video calls over a 3G network. A microSD memory card slot is there for memory expansion options. There is no word on pricing for this quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE handset though.

Dont buy this phone, this is without a doubt the worst smart phone I have ever owned (I have had 4 previous to this one) The engineers and QC people who work for this start up must be either asleep or out to make a quick buck. I had to completely reset this phone at least once when the "messaging" function (read email application) froze. And then while charging it over this past holiday season it just gave out all together, and the phone was 3 monthss old. When it did work it was often glitchy and if you pressed a key too quickly after pressening another one it wouldnt register (yes all of the latest firmwares were applied). As for Battery life substandard at best, on average had to recharge every 1.5 - 2 days and this was not having bluetooth activated surfing 3 g less than 30 min per day and perhaps a couple of calls (not even using wifi). I spent a lot of money and got an ugly paper weight, take my advice go with anything but this phone.
