High Definition still remains the Holy Grail for most people due to the high costs of entry despite some rather steep price drops over the years. Aiptek is jumping onto the High Definition bandwagon by offering the HD Video Recorder that immortalizes your favorite memories in 720p glory. Features are pretty average though, with a 3x optical zoom, an SD memory card slot which stores up to 4 hours of video on an 8GB SD card), and a 5 megapixel camera. At $299 a pop, it is certainly worth mulling over if you're considering getting a new video camcorder. Anyway, just remember to get a HD-ready TV if you want to take full advantage of recording all your video in High Definition.
