All-in-one DVD projector
Posted on May 6, 07 06:47 PM PDT

Why bother hooking up your DVD player to a projector when you can settle for yet another convergence device in the form of the DY-PJ001H All-in-One DVD projector? From the top, it looks like any other DVD player, but when you look at it from any other angle, the DY-PJ001H is rather bloated in size. No widescreen ratio is supported though, featuring only an aspect ratio of 4:3 at a resolution of 800 x 600. Connectivity options include audio input and VGA-for-PC. Pricing details are unavailable. I suppose if it's affordable enough it would make a great living room entertainer, although I'd do something about the garish red color.

Optoma DV10 is a better choice - I-own-it and it has widescreen playback at 480p
