Android guinea pig for doctors

This robot was created by the researchers at Gifu University medical school with the purpose for training medical students when it comes to diagnosing tricky conditions. For example, the robot shown here is displaying symptoms of an autoimmune disease, causing muscle weakness as a result. The entire exercise aims to let students check out various body language signs such as facial expression, posture, and reflexes in order to hone their diagnostic skills. And I thought only humans had a bad hair day! I suppose if I had an autoimmune disease, I won't look too good either, frazzled hair and all.
