BenQ phone tells your body fat ratio

Apparently BenQ has plans for a handset that is capable of measuring your body fat, making it easy to call your dietician on what you should do to lose some weight. This cellphone comes with a couple of separate electrodes protruding from the side of the phone, while an integrated chip measures the electrical signal between them in order to find out just how much your body fat ratio is. Pretty interesting feature, but it definitely won’t be a killer app that will move millions upon millions of handsets. People want to be told how great looking they are, and not otherwise. I suppose a “Mirror, mirror on the wall…” handset would fare much better.
