Cellphone strap actually a charger

It is confusing enough that this cellphone strap looks like an eraser, and yet it doesn't send mistakes made with a pencil to oblivion as the device is actually a cellphone charger in reality. Powered by a couple of AA batteries, you will be able to give your exhausted handset a quick boost to make that all important business call. Unfortunately, the list of compatible phones is shorter than a dwarf, working with cellphones from FOMA and SoftBank only - ensuring all you non-Japanese stay out of the loop. Can't someone port this idea over Stateside?
